Helfand & Associates traces its roots to a firm Tanya N. Helfand established in 1997. The firm has grown to three attorneys and a strong support staff with offices in Livingston and Rockaway.

Our firm represents professionals, executives, business owners and other similar clients in Randolph, Sparta, Mountain Lakes, Denville, Livingston, Short Hills, Springfield and towns throughout New Jersey.

We concentrate in the areas of matrimonial and family law with a focus on complex divorce and sophisticated domestic matters. We handle all aspects of family law from premarital agreements, divorce, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, adoption, paternity issues and domestic partnerships. The firm also handles a significant number of cases in the fields of bankruptcy, workers’ compensation, criminal, traffic, DWI and drug offenses before the municipal court as well as probate litigation and guardianship.
