Biography: Ms. Pivawer has more than 28 years of legal experience. Prior to joining Helfand & Associates in 1999, Ms. Pivawer served as an Assistant Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Newark, and Assistant Corporation Counsel, Litigation Division for the City of Newark. She also worked for a Plaintiff’s personal injury and worker’s compensation firm, Friedman & Friedman for three years. Before beginning her legal career, Jacqueline was a Housing Manager for the New York City Housing Authority.

Ms. Pivawer is a seasoned litigator. You can feel confident that she will advocate on your behalf to the fullest extent of the law. Although she will settle when it is prudent, she is tough and will litigate, if necessary, to help you in your matter.
